After calling many vet offices needing more money than I had to put my poor old dying kitty to rest, I tried RRAC. Not only were their prices lower, they treated me and my pet with utmost respect and gentleness. That morning, I'd read a vet article on what to expect when putting down a pet and how the best vets do in these cases--including asking if I could drive myself okay after witnessing death of my pet. This office did that, asking if they could call anyone to help me. I also got a bereavement card at home a few days later. I will return to this office. It wasn't fancy looking or big, but the care for pet and human were exceptional in my case. I expect to use this clinic in the future for another kitty.
Pros: Easy to get appointment same day
Cons: located in Rio Rancho for those in Albuquerque

Shortly after moving to NM our dog developed a huge swelling in his throat and mouth and was unable to drink or pant. I loaded him into the car and started stopping at vets around the area. Most stated they were not taking new patients, One agreed to see him but said they would not take him as a regular patient and that it would cost $150 just to see him plus any fees for treating him. I looked up and saw RRAnimal Clinic behind the lotta burger and walked out and drove over. Not only did they see him and help him but they accepted him as a new patient and the fees were not at all extravagant.
They now care for both my dogs and I am very very happy with their work.
